JakeCullen(BillKerr)liveswithhisgrandsonintheAustralianoutbackwhenamassiverazorbackboarattackshim,destroyinghishouseandkillinghisgrandson.Heisaccusedofmurderandhisdignityisdestroyed. Twoyearslater,awildlifereporter,BethWinters,journeystotheoutbacktodocumentthehuntingofAustralianwildlifetobeusedasanimalfood,processedinalargefactory,butsheisattackedbytwoderangedlocals,BennyandDicko,wholeavehertobekilledbythebeast.Herhusband,Carl,goesinsearchofher,andaidsJakeCullenandhisyoungassociate,SarahCameron,inhuntingfortherazorbackresponsibleforherdeath. Astheysearchforthecreature,BennyandDickoworrythattheymaybeassociatedwiththemurderofBethWinters,sotheyattackCullenandleavehimtobekilledbytheboar.Vowingrevengeforhiswifeandhisfriend,CarlfindsBennyandlowershimintoamineshaft,presumablykillinghim,andfindsDickointhefactory.Beforehecankillhim,therazorbacksurgesandmaulsDickotodeathbeforechasingafterCarlandSarah,wheretheyfaceoffinsidetheprocessingfactory.CarllurestheBoar(havingspeareditwithapole)intopursuinghimdownaconveyorbelt,attheendofwhichisalargeindustrialfan.Notabletostopitself,theboarfallstoitsdemiseontotheblade/finskillingit,whileCarlrescuesSarah.
