Ramprasadhasamoustache.Hetakescareofotherproblemsbywearingkurta&feigningignoranceaboutsports.Bhavanihireshimimmediately.Ramisahardworkingguy,soBhavani(&Ram)havenoproblems.However,Ramoncetakesleavebypretendingthathismother(whodiedmanyyearsago)hastakenill,andgoestowatchahockeymatch.BhavaniShankar,whoalsoattendedthematch,seeshimthere. ThenextdayBhavanisummonsRamprasadtohisofficeandaskshimabouttheHockeymatch.Rememberingtheplotofamovieafriendofhisisshooting,RamconvincesBhavaniShankarthathehadseenhis"moustache-less"identicaltwinLucky(aliasLakshmanprasadDashrathprasadSharma)atthestadium. BhavaniShankarbuyshisargument&feelsbadaboutaccusinghimanddecidestomakeamendsbyhiringLuckytoteachhisdaughterUrmila(BindiyaGoswami)music.RamprasadreluctantlyshaveshismoustachetobecomeLuckyandstartstoteachmusictoUrmila.HeishelpedbyhisactorfriendDevenVerma(playinghimself). NowUrmilaakaUrmiistheexactoppositeofherfather.ShetakesimmediatelikingtoLucky,whileRamisbarelynoticedbyher.Bhavaninoticesthis&givesRamanotherjobtotutoronthepretextofherexams.Meanwhile,Mrs.Srivastav(DinaPathak),asocialite,isropedtoplaythepartofRam,"Lakshman"&Ratna'smother.LikeRam,shealsoendsupplayingherowntwininfrontofBhavani. RamdecidestotellUrmilathetruth.UrmilatellshimtotellthetruthtoBhavaniaswell.RamgoestoBhavanitotellthetruth,butBhavaniseesRam'smoustachegivingaway.BhavaniexposesRam,butendsupthinkingthatLuckymurderedRam&impersonatedhimtomarryUrmila. Inahilariouschasethatfollows,Bhavaniendsuptotallingapolicejeep.TheSeniorInspector(OmPrakash)mistakeshimforathugnamedPascalD'Costa&isabouttolockhimupinthejail.OnlywhenhisInspectoridentifiesBhavaniShankarbyhisrealidentityishefreed.Bynow,aharriedBhavanihasdevelopedhatredfortwinaswell.
